WILDCATS TOURNY A HUGE SUCCESS
First Wildcats event in Monmouth County
Sunday, December 14, 2009 (Long Branch, NJ) - The NJ Wildcats Tournament was a huge success!  40 teams from all over Region I participated in this event including 3 state champions.  The fields at Manahassett Creek Park and Saint John Vianney are state of the art which allowed for this tournaments amazing success.  Clubs like Arsenal (NJ), FC Bucks (EPA), YMS (EPA), and FC Coppa (NJ) highlight the tremendious crop of clubs/teams that attended.

"The NJ Wildcats coaching staff was on site along with many college coaches to get a first hand look at potential future players for their programs," stated Kevin McDermott, NJ Wildcats Head Coach, "The quality of teams, quality of fields, and quality of referees was second to none.  We look for this event to be the Premier College Showcase Event in NJ in 2010 with the already high level quality of everything only getting even better."

The NJ Wildcats are launching another prestigious event in March at the same facilities to allow youth teams to kick of thier spring seasons.  They will be hosting their second Youth Soccer Tournament.  The tournament will be held at Manahassett Creek Park in Long Branch, NJ and Saint John Vianney HS in Holmdel, NJ on March 6th and 7th, 2010.
